چکیده
Objectives: To elucidate the involved culprit arteries and proportion of spontaneous arterial recanalization (SAR) in acute lateral wall myocardial infarction (ALWMI) patients Pakistan. Methodology: This cross-sectional study was conducted outpatient department (OPD) a tertiary care cardiac center from February 2019 to July 2019. Patients meeting selection criteria ALWMI were included. Key angiographic outcomes recorded for each patient. Proportion SAR terms assessed. Results: One hundred fifty two (152) included, out which 81% (124) males. Mean age 54.73 ± 11.03 years. Most (46.4%) presented with single vessel disease. Overall, 89 (59%) showed settled ECG changes. Of them 73 (66%), 8 (33%) (47%) had diagonal artery involvement, 1st obtuse marginal involvement ramus intermedius respectively. Statistical significance (p=0.006) is observed relationship patients. Conclusion: reports arteries. Diagonal (~ 73%) most ALWMI. also highest involvement. tendency more diseases compared double triple

Results The average duration from the onset of symptom to OCT imaging was 3.8 1.0 h. The incidence of plaque rupture observed by OCT was 73%, and it was significantly higher than that by CAS (47%, p 0.035) and IVUS (40%, p 0.009). Furthermore, OCT (23%) was superior to CAS (3%, p 0.022) and IVUS (0%, p 0.005) in the detection of fibrous cap erosion. The intracoronary thrombus was observed in al...

The coronary arteries are diffusely involved by atherosclerotic plaques in fatal acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The degree of luminal narrowing may vary but plaques are present in practically every millimeter of extramural coronary artery. Usually the lumens of at least two of the three major coronary arteries are narrowed >75% by old plaques in patients who die suddenly (<6 hours) from car...
